G'day one year old!

Hello! I am being girl Friday today as on Monday my sister and her baby arrived from Australia for their much anticipated, long awaited stay here (happy dance!) Her daughter turned one a few weeks ago,and so I saved her card for when they arrived. Although she is too young to fully appreciate the awesomeness of Lawn Fawn and their very appropriate Critters Down Under set,I thought it was a great opportunity to use it ;-) I kept the colouring bold and simple.

Yes,it is that die again-nearly all of us all have it,so I think you will be seeing it a LOT!
The paper is Lawn Fawn 'Bright Side',the rest is Lawn Fawn 'Critters Down Under' and the lighthouse is from Paper Smooches 'Smoocheroos' (they live in Byron Bay which has a beautiful landmark lighthouse,so had to include that ;-))
She loved it,and I hope you do too!

A Christmas Owl

Hello Stampers, sorry I'm a bit late this morning but I'm here now with an early Christmas card to share with you....this is a record breaking card because I've never made anything Christmassy this early before but to be fair it's only the sentiment that makes this a Christmas card because the owl could be used for any reason really, come and see.....

This cute set is 'Winter Owl' and is by Lawn Fawn, he's paper pieced using a few scraps and then to add dimension I used Promarkers and a white gel pen for highlights and shadows.
I made the branches from the tree in 'Critters Down Under', it splits in half quite nicely to make a couple of branch pieces and a few doodled lines make it look like a silver birch.

He really looks snug wrapped up in that scarf doesn't he :0)

Thanks for looking today and hope your enjoying the Autumn sunshine :0)

Smile Crocodile!!

Good Morning and happy weekend :0)

Today I have a clean and simple card to share with you that I made this week using the new Lawn Fawn set called Critters Down Under.....

I have paper pieced the cute croc from the set and given him lots of space to wander in.
You can't quite see in the photo but I have given him some shape by using a ball ended embossing tool to rub over the back of certain areas with a foam mat under to help give a smooth shape.

Can't wait to have time to play with the rest of the cute critters in the set!!

Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for looking :0)
