Throwback Thursday

Hello!

Happy nearly weekend :-D

I know some of my posts can dubiously be called 'Throwback',but todays post is TRULY a throwback. I used  the gloriously vintage Paper Smooches Chubby Chum Pals and the not so quite as vintage Think Fast to create a card one of my favourite quotes

I know,I know-its a chicken, but it could be a seagull. If you half squint. And look from a distance ;-)

He and the fries are water coloured and the packet is paper pieced and the sentiment typed with my trusty vintage typewriter. Then a little stitching around the edge in 'fry' colour to finish it off.

Right, thats all from me-Im off to fulfill this cards demand ;-)

Lets do Lunch!!

Helloo there :0)

I know it's not my usual day to blog but I'm sharing my card today to coincide nicely with my first Challenge team post at  Paper Smooches Sparks which is Anything Goes this week...

If you haven't played along with the Sparks challenge yet... an 'Anything Goes' week is the great way to start... let your creative mind wander and have some fun :0)
I've used Promenade and a sentiment from Think Fast to create this CAS framed scene. The layers add the illusion of perspective and simple colours really pop against all that white space :0)

Just to let you know, I have a couple of Paper Smooches stamps sets to giveaway on my blog as a 'Hooray' for joining the Sparks DT, one of which was kindly donated by our very own lovely Tara, here at Make the Day Special.... now please don't think I'm touting for comments... I just didn't want you to miss out on the chance of a freebie :0)

AND... another heads up because tomorrow we have a Guest Blogger joining us here at Make the Day Special to coincide with the fabulous new release of stamps and dies from Lil Inkers designs....you really do not want to miss it *wink*

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you in the Sparks gallery too :0)
