June store kit

I received the new June store kit a few days ago and eventually decided to ink up one of the floral designs from the Quiet Essence part first....it did take me a while though LOL!

I used brown Memento ink to stamp the image before using my Promarkers to colour it in and then I cut it out. The sentiment stamp is actually an {ippity} one from the Delightful Little Things set available over at {ippity} inspiration.

Materials used: DCWV cardstock, October Afternoon Thrift Shop papers, Unity stamp from June store kit, Memento ink, Promarkers, {ippity} sentiment stamp, satin ribbon, vintage lace and button.

My cute stamps, Birthday numbers

Hello, a really quick to make card today using My cute stamps Birthday numbers which can be found here. Ive cut the labels using my nesties and the bp is basic grey. Ive used my promarkers to colour the balloons and number. The numbers in this set come with candles on top, I didn't ink the candle as i just wanted the number. I wanted to use primary colours as it can then be for a boy or a girl.
Thanks for looking.

Be you

Before I show you today's card don't forget to check out yesterday's blog hop post!!!

One of the things I love most about Unity stamp sets is the variety of sentiments in all the sets. They make for quick and easy cards like this one.

I made a 5" square card and sewed around the edge. Then I stamped the sentiment (from the Naturally You part of the Unity store kit for May straight on to a ready printed journalling block. This was then placed on the card with foam pads over ribbon and flowers added as an embellishment.

Materials used: Unity May Store kit, KI Memories journalling block, American Crafts cardstock, Memento ink, Fancy Pants ribbon, Dovecraft gem brads, Prima flowers, Stickles and vintage buttons.

Thanks for visiting!!

Sew sweet!

I have a very bright and summery card to share with you today which I made using a stamp from the QKR stampede range which is available from Make the Day special. This image is 'Just Sitting' and as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to combine it with Gingham or checks.

I found this very bright backing paper in my stash with the purple card and this gave me the direction for my card colour scheme. I stamped onto smooth card and coloured the image with my Promarkers before cutting it out and mounting to a panel cut from my Nesties.
I cut the purple card to fit my card base and matted it with the checked card and sewed around the edges. I then wrapped the front with ribbon before sticking it to the base.
I added a sentiment with Prima and My Little Shoebox letter stickers and finished with some pins, a flower and buttons.
I hope you have a great Friday!

I stamped the butterflies on to lightly patterned paper using the Essential Glue Pad before adding black flocking powder then cutting out the butterfly. The card base was made and I used Laura Ashley flocked paper as a background.

I added organza ribbon and a rub-on sentiment and accent to finish the card.
