Little santa girl

Hello.
I am still making Christmas cards, guess i should have started sooner.
I'm not normally one to mix stamp companies not sure why i just don't but for today's card i wanted to use the little santa girl from neat and tangled but she need some thing extra for a background.
Winnie and Walters winter woodland proved to be just what was needed

I stamped the girl in momento black ink and coloured with copics.
I then fussy cut her out.
I made the background directly on to my card base using distress inks with some torn paper and the image from winter woodland.
It makes a simple but effective background and adds some extra detail.

World photo day

Hello.
Its world photography day today and that's inspired today's cards.

First up is this card using Lawn fawns #Awesome stamp set.
I am ashamed to say it hasn't seen much ink if any since Ive had it.
I started by using the small camera icon  and heat embossed with clear powder.
I then water coloured and left to dry.
I made the sentiment and added to the water coloured panel.
Very simple to do and some clear sequins finish it just  nicely.

This card uses an older lawn fawn set, Say cheese.
I love the old polaroid style camera ...still have one in real life too.
I simply stamped and coloured with pencils before fussy cutting.
I stamped the background using stamps from Winnie and Walter and hero arts ombre ink.
To add my sentiment i cut the camera where the picture would come from and place the banner with the stamped sentiment in,

I hope you get to take some pictures today ...maybe of cards ...for our challenge? ;)

True

Hello.
I have two watercolour cards today using more stamps from the recent Winnie and Walter release.

This first card uses the long pattern stripe stamp the from True stamp set .
I stamped it multiple times in black archival ink before colouring with some watercolour pens.
I added colour only in certain parts before loosening it with a water brush.
I decided to go with a shaker card and have used some neat and tangled sequins.

My next card is clean and simple but the water coloured panel really packs a punch so it doesn't need much more.
I used the multifacetd mini scenery stamp. First i heat embossed it then water coloured.
I went very random and normally i would freak out  a bit at having the same colour next to itself but i just let go and definitely glad i did it doesn't bother me as much now its done lol.
I kept it simple and just added the sentiment from winter woodland stamp set.

My precious

Hello.
Today i have a trio of cards using Some Winnie and Walter stamps.

For this card i stamped the mini scenery stamp in versamark and lightly covered in some gold perfect pearls then just tapped the excess off.
This creates a gorgeous sparkly gold but its very hard to photograph.
I then stamped the sentiment straight onto it with black archival ink.
The diamond was coloured with pencils and added with some some foam tape.

My second card uses one of the diamonds from My precious stamp set.
I simply stamped in rainbow colours using distress inks.
The sentiment is from the party.

Lastly i just wanted to play with a random look.
I still had my distress inks out and just mixed some coloured onto my card and stamped the circles in black to stand out.
I splashed some gold perfect pearls and added sequins and some liquid pearls to finish.
All sequins used can be found here.

In Bloom

Hello.
We had the new release from Winnie and Walter  arrive recently and i wanted to show you these fabulous floral stamp sets.
Both are large sets and you get lots to play with.

I knew straight away i wanted to watercolour with the Addies garden  set.
I started by stamping  in distress inks and then used a water brush to loosen the colour and to add more.
Everything is stamped and coloured this way.
Once it had dried I stamped the sentiment in black archival ink.
Its finished with some clear sequins.

Next i have used lola's bouquet.
I have stamped all of the images in distress inks.
Once i finished the random stamping i added two stripe of washi tape on the bottom edge of my card base.
The sentiment is stamped in black archival ink and i didn't ink up the "s".
Then i added a couple of enamel dots.

Happy mothers day

Hello.
Its Mothers day on Sunday (in the UK) so i have made my mums card using Winnie and Walters the party stamp set and  Avery Elle happy die and build a banner stamps and dies.
On some water colour card i stamped the images from Winnie and Walter in versa mark.
So that i didn't over lap to much i had to keep tilting the card so i could see where i had already stamped.
I then heat embossed in gold powder and coloured using watercolour paints.

While that was drying i die cut the happy word die from black card and covered in some glitter.
Next i stamped and die cut the banner saying mothers day.
The dies are really easy to line up as they are just outlines.
I finished with some clear sequins.

Krafty Christmas

Hello.
I have a love hate relationship with Kraft card, I love it when i see what others do but struggle with it myself.
I think i may have over come that with this card using Winnie and Walters Winter woodland set.
I cut a small panel of kraft and stamped using silver fox and  green Avery Elle inks.
I stamped the deer also in Avery Elle inks then masked before creating the snow with the silver fox ink and sponge dauber.
I stamped the pine cones on some scraps of kraft and fussy cut them out then added on some foam tape and finished with a bow of lawn fawn peppermint twine.
