Many thanks

 Hello.
Well according to the met office the 1st of September is the start of autumn so that means i can start using The lawn fawn stitched leaves dies.
I have mixed up the old set and the new smaller version.

I coloured some white card with distress inks first then die cut the leaves.
The largest one is from the original leaves dies.
Once they were die cut i added some more ink to the bottom parts of the leaves and dusted some perfect pearls in gold on them, it gives an amazing shimmer.
I also added some of the perfect pearls to water and splashed onto my panel and dried with a heat tool.
I wanted to add a matt using the new scalloped stackables from Lawn fawn and used some of the  card with colour on it.
It is a bit random but i like the little extra pop of colour and no card was wasted in the making ;)
To finish i stamped the sentiment from Many thanks and added some dots of gold liquid pearls.

Just so that you can compare the size difference the left is the original set and right the new smaller one.
Everything used is linked up below just click the images.

Floral thanks

 Hello.
You may have seen Jenny's fab card on Monday with her super argyle stamping.
Today i have used the same set but in a different way.

I started by masking the top section of my card base.
I then stamped the lines from the argyle backdrops stamp set (currently on sale ) and filled with pink and yellow inks from Avery Elle.
Once that was done i used the Belinda's borders set and just stamped an extra line to make the argyle section look more finished.

I stamped the smaller flower and flourish from Judy's blooms onto the  card base and then again twice more onto some white card.
They were coloured with copics in colours to match the patterned section then fussy cut and adhered to the card.
Before i added the flowers i added some ink splashes to the card.
To finish i used some sequins.

A Sweet One Layer Card

Hello there.. are you in the mood for a sweet feast this Saturday morning???

Well, I saw this Lawn Fawn set in the Sale section on the website but there's only one
left so lets hope it's still there today as this post is scheduled!!!
I was inspired by the current Lawnscaping challenge to make a One Layer card so I teamed up the
yummy desserts from Here's the Scoop with a sentiment from Many Thanks, which is currently
out of stock but with all the lovely alphabets LF produce you could easily make your own!!

I inked the sentiment without the lollipops around it and then using the 'post-it note' masking technique I arranged the ice creams either side of the wording. They've been coloured with Inktense and regular water-colour pencils and the base is watercolour card... I've had it in my stash for
ages and it really does work the best for this method of colouring.
A few highlights with a white gel pen and they look good enough to eat :0)

Thanks for dropping by and I hope this weekend brings ice cream weather to everyone..
but especially for us as we're camping... fingers crossed!!

Jenny x

Quick thank you cards

Hello.
Sorry for the late post today.
Today was the kids last day of school and yesterday morning i thought i had better whip up some quick cards.
I didn't want to go down the normal route of apples ,books and blackboards so i went with something more personal.
My son has had the best support from his teacher and TA and i wanted it to look like he was saying "Thank you".

I found this recent photo and loved it.
I then used the Lawn fawn stamp set Many thanks for the speech bubble.
And then added the teacher and TA's names using Claire' ABC.

There you have it two quick thank you cards.
It took about 10 minutes to make both.
Thanks for looking.
