I Love You Mum

Another card from me using the kit - "A Mother's Love" which is half of the November Store kit.

I stamped and embossed the "frame" stamp on to the pink paper before adding the sentiment. As this is an American stamp it originally said "i love you mom" but with a little masking I managed to stamp "i love you mum".

The butterfly stamp from the set was stamped using black Stazon ink on to shrink plastic and then coloured with chalk before shrinking.

Materials used:
Papermill cardstock, Basic Grey Curio patterned papers, Pink Paislee Sweetness paper
Unity stamps (as above), Versamark ink, black embossing powder, shrink plastic, black Stazon ink, Deluxe Designs ink
Crafty Notions Rainbow Drops, black cotton lace.

I love these stamps, they are such a good price and they aren't small as the name suggests, they are normal sizes and perfect for CAS notelets LOL!

I've embossed this image to give a bit of dimension.

Monster colouring books

Hi everyone, its me again (I know two days in a row... freaky!)

I have more books to share, this time using stamps by Smeared Ink. I LOVE these stamps!

The Smeared in stamps are great quality unmounted stamps, they give great crisp images so I thought I would make a couple of colouring books for the kids for Christmas. I could happily sit and colour a whole book of these little chaps so I am sure they will too!

Make the Day Special is currently the only place in the UK to stock these stamps, do pop over for a look at the range :)

Thanks for visiting

Friends With Flair - Suzi Blu

Hi everyone

I am sharing for friends with flair a couple of books I have made.

I love the Suzi Blu stamps and I really love acrylic inks and you see the combination of the two here!

The 'Queen of Glitter' stamp made for a feast of purple sparkle.

I think this is my favorite image. Again it was stamped onto chipboard that had been treated with gesso and then painted with acrylic inks. This has been mounted onto a 8"by8" book with nice crisp white internal pages.

I think these stamps are a great size and can be used for so many occasions, they are available in the UK from Make the Day Special.

A list of all the blogs in the fwf blog hop will be on the Unity Stamp Co blog

Thank you for dropping in

Wishes and kisses

Hello. Here's a card i made using the fabulous new store kit from Unity. I have used the wishes and kiss part of the kit.
I have used papermania papers to make a pocket on the front of the card and stamped the sentiment straight onto it. I then decorated a tag using the bow sentiment and heart stamps.
I then stamped another heart and with the tag in place attached it to the front of the pocket so that it covers the one on the tag.
To finish i added some bling to the bow.
Nice and simple.
Thanks for looking.

Unity minibook

Hello as the title says I'm making a mini book using Unity stamps. Normally when i make a mini book its all patterned papers so this is a bit of a challenge to myself. Unity have some fantastic kits for scrapbookers and i figured this was a good way to try them out. The set I'm using for this is "Priceless reflections".
So far i have the front cover. Ive kept it quite simple and not too bulky. I started by spraying the cover with glimmer mists then used a matching distress ink to the edges. I then stamped the big corner text stamp in the corner using the same distress ink. Then using momento black i stamped the circles stamp twice and the the "Priceless" stamp. To finish i added some mini alpha stickers and the flower. I hope to have more pages from the book to share soon.
There are lots of unity here here and special offer here.
Thanks for looking.
