Flocked butterflies

I love the Layers of Color butterfly set "Flutterescent" and having bought some flocking powder last week decided to try it our with these stamps.
I stamped the butterflies on to lightly patterned paper using the Essential Glue Pad before adding black flocking powder then cutting out the butterfly. The card base was made and I used Laura Ashley flocked paper as a background.

I added organza ribbon and a rub-on sentiment and accent to finish the card.

I love the effect of the flock on the stamping and can see myself using this a fair bit in the future!!

Very Green!

My card for you today is made using stamps from the gorgeous My Cute Stamp set, Celebrate Today available from Emily here.  I wanted to use my white Stazon, so stamped one of the swirly stamps over the background of a dark green card, then stamped the seed head stamp and coloured in with Copics.  I matted this onto the card, did some doodled stitches and added some Primas and Card Candy to finish.

Materials:
Stamps - My Cute Stamp
Inks - Memento and Copics
Other - green card, white gel pen, Card Candy, Primas, Adirondack Acrylic

Little sweeties!

I have another card to share with you today using one of the 'My Cute Stamp' sets available at Make the Day special. This card was made using the adorable 'Sweet Kawai' set.

To make the card, I stamped the sweetie image four times and cut it out with my Nesties. I cut a scalloped square to frame the images. I coloured the images with Promarkers and covered them with glossy accents.
I cut a piece of green card to fit my card base and a slightly smaller piece of My Mind's Eye stripey paper.
I matted them together and sewed around the edges with my machine. I stampe the sentiment and cut it out with a Nesties label which I matted on to another cut from green card. This was placed in the middle of the card with the images spaced evenly around it.
I love these cute little sweeties! Good enough to eat!
Have a lovely Friday!
