Life Becoming!
Today I'd like to show you a really quick and easy card...
I have used 2 of the Unity Store Kits, 'Life Becoming' and 'Quiet Essence' available from the lovely Emily here I started with a 6"x6" card blank and covered it with patterned paper (I think PaperMania) and I used the lovely Scroll stamp from my most favourite kit...'The Artist In You', again available from Emily here stamped in Sage Distress Ink...I really don't know what I'd do without this kit, it's so useful! The Frame is stamped and embossed and I've just stamped and clear embossed the Sentiment. The Flower is stamped on to printed paper (K&CO this time!) twice and layered, with just a little Glossy Accents in the middle..
It is ages since I shared an Inky project with you....so I thought I'd share a Tag today....
I had so much fun making this! Didn't have any idea what I had in mind when I started, just knew which stamps and inks I wanted to use! I have used the very same kits as in the card....see that Scroll has made another appearance! I stamped and clear embossed the background stamp and one of the Flowers, then coloured all over with Distress Stains and blended Distress Inks over the top. I then 'water splattered' stamped the Bird and embossed again! The Flower is stamped onto the same paper as before and layered.
I have just embossed the Scrolls and top of the Tag with White embossing powder. All that was left was to add some ribbon!
And there you have it! Two different things using the same stamps! I love how versatile Unity stamps are!
Thanks for looking, have a good Monday and I'll see you soon.

Pretty Packaging To Make The Day Special
The leaves on the embellishment were handstamped using stamps from Blissful Botanicals - one of Lawn Fawn's 2011 Summer Release sets - and one of the leaves from Unity's beautiful set Harvest Of Memories.
I hope this gives you some ideas for using your stamps outside of the usual cards and scrapbook layouts - I know I've definitely got a few more off the page projects planned for the summer!

Easy rosettes and pinwheels
.....And new stamps :0)
For this card i used the "a girl and her cake" set.
And the pinwheel dies.
I kept this really simple and used my pro markers to colour.
I just love the sayings with this set.
I made this card simple just to show the rosettes.
This uses the smaller one from the die.
Again the sentiment is from the "a girl and her cake" set.
You can find all the cats pajamas dies here.
Thanks for looking

Quiet Essence!
I have a card to show you today, that I have made using the Unity Store kit 'Quiet Essence' available from the lovely Emily here
I love this set and I've used it quite a few times, but unusually not the Flower! It's lovely isn't it? So easy to cut out, even for a 'scissor challenged' person such as myself!! Before I covered the card blank...(it's 6"x6") with some pretty background paper, I stamped and embossed one of the sentiments, but felt the paper still needed something else...so I reached for my all time favourite stamp set...'The Artist In You' again available from Emily here this set is so useful, I automatically reach for it now! I stamped and embossed the Flourish down the side.
I stamped and cut out the background stamp and then stamped and coloured my flower twice and cut out the centre of the flower and 3D it with some silicone glue. All that was needed to finish were some satin ribbon and gems...
Thanks for looking, I hope you have a good Monday and I'll catch up with you soon.

Krafty keys
The first card uses a stamped key as an embellishment. I used a rub-on to make the frame and then added stickers for the sentiment. The key was stamped on to kraft cardstock and then cut out and threaded on faux suede thonging:
Materials used:
Kraft cardstock, Fancy Pants rub-on, DCWV stickers
My Cute Stamp - keys, black Versafine ink
faux suede thong
For my second card I cut a freehand heart from kraft cardstock and used various coloured inks to stamp the keys on it before using a black fineliner to outline the keys. For the sentiment I used a Unity stamp from the set Key To Joy available here:
Materials used:
Kraft cardstock
My Cute Stamps - Keys, Unity stamps - Key To Joy, Memento inks, black Versafine ink
Promarker pen, fineliner
ribbon

Wishes And Kisses!
Today I have a really quick and easy card to show you......
It's been a bit of a hectic week!!!
I love ♥♥♥ this set. It is the Unity store kit, 'Wishes & Kisses' available from the lovely Emily here I have just used one of the Hearts and stamped and clear embossed.........it took me longer to try and get them straight and evenly spaced than anything else!! I stamped and clear embossed the sentiment and added some clear self adheshive hearts and a gorgeous Velvet ribbon.
Clean and Simple!
I'm thinking inky and messy and Tags for next time!!
Thanks for looking, I hope you have a good week and I'll catch up with you soon.

Go Confidently....
I coloured a piece of Kraft resist paper with a green Glimmer Mist before stamping the compass stamp on it using black Versafine ink. The sentiment from the set was stamped on to cardstock and I then used the arrow stamp to lightly stamp in various places around the sentiment,
As an embellishment I found a St Christopher charm which was silver before I coloured it with a Promarker.
Materials used:
Bazzill cardstock, Tim Holtz Kraft Resist Paper Stack
Unity stamps (as above), black Versafine ink
Glimmer Mist, Promarker, charm and ribbon

Lots Of Little Lawn Fawns
My first card features some of the leaves and a dinky little flower stamp from Blissful Botanicals and a sentiment stamp from Cruising Through Life.
The second card uses the most adorable clouds you'll ever see - they're from the Bon Voyage Set - along with the balloon stamps from Admit One and a sentiment from Blissful Botanicals.
And, last but not least, an idea for Father's Day using the sentiment stamps from Say Cheese Too and a couple of stamps from Admit One. Cute, right? Go get 'em!
