Fabric Flowers ATC

Hey Guys, thought I would play with some fabric for this week's Make The Day Special make so I have a little fabric ATC that I've coloured and stamped onto using ZIG Fabricolor Twin pens.

I've used stamps from the Unity Adventures in Happiness Store kit.

I will be posting a little Step By Step on to my blog around 2pm (UK time) if you are interested to see how I put this piece together.

Catch you later.

Morbidly Tarot!

Morning! and a happy Monday to you....Can't believe it's the 1st August already....
Today I have a couple of pages to show you using the Morbidly Tarot set available for a limited period from the lovely Emily here

These are what is known as 'Tip In' pages....used when altering a book, these pages replace some of the pages removed from the book which follow it's theme..
The theme for this page is 'Gothic' These stamps were just what I needed! Simply stamped and clear embossed and then I used Distress Inks to create the background. I doodled a bit and then was very brave and actually wrote the words!!
The theme for this is 'Vampire/Dark Angels' I think 'High Priestess' fits the bill, don't you?
I created a 'painty' background with acrylic paints and stamped the image onto a seperate piece of card and coloured her in with ProMarkers. So that she 'blended' in a little I created some little Gold and Black circles round the edges...
Thank you for looking and I'll see you again soon...I hope the weather improves for us...have a good week.

She xx

Butterfly quote

I have a card to share with you today using a stamp from one of my favourite sets - Unity's Quote Bundle Pack.

I made a card base using watercolour paper (I love the thickness of this). I cut a Nestabilities label from card and used distress ink to colour it before stamping the quote. I then paper pieced the 2 tiny butterflies on  the stamp. The large butterfly is actually a Prima stamp (from my "small" collection LOL!).

Materials used:
watercolour paper, Prima Madeline papers
Unity stamp (as above), brown Memento ink, distress ink
Prima butterfly stamp, ribbon, Kaisercraft rhinestone

Thanks for visiting!!

Loving My Lawn Fawn's

As you have all probably realised by now - I love my Lawn Fawn! This bright and beautiful card uses three of Lawn Fawn's most popular stamp sets - Jessie's ABCs, Blissful Botanicals and Bon Voyage.

DSC_0395

Jessie's ABCs is a super set full of letters - upper and lower case - along with numbers and punctuation. It even includes multiples of some letters, making longer words and phrases easy and quick to stamp. I can now stamp my own sentiments whenever I like - versatile and easy on the pocket!

So, to use the sentiment I'd stamped, I then created a card to showcase it a little. The background is created using one of the stamps from BLissful Botanicals - stamped in the 'sing along' colours of the rainbow - and the clouds are from Bon Voyage.

Can you see why I love my Lawn Fawn?

Hello Waterfall Card!

I've been learning new tricks from a crafty pal and have been practising my newly learned waterfall card technique:

Stamps: My Cute Stamp 'Konnichiwa' set
Other materials: promarkers, brads, eyelet, ribbon

If you've not tried a waterfall card, I can thoroughly recommend it! It's lots of fun to create and looks great when finished.

Have a great Friday!
