Monochrome With a Pop Of Yellow
Hi there ! Happy Friday, well yesterday I may have thought it was Friday so I’m sorry for the lateness of my post today.
Today I’m sharing with you a card that was chosen for the April issue of Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking but sadly as they are no longer publishing it won’t be in print….. but that doesn’t mean that you lovely people won’t get to see it
I have used two different Altenew sets for this card, Dodecagram and Painted Flowers. First I stamped the outline of the roses in black and then used a light grey and then a darker grey to stamp the solid roses images. I added a touch of bright yellow Copic to the buds for a pop of neon yellow colour.
The sentiment from Dodecagram I stamped onto some black cardstock and heat embossed in white before adding this on top of the stamped flowers I added some yellow sewing thread underneath the sentiment strip. I couple of Sparkling Clear Sequins finished the card.
I would really love to know what you think of my card!
I hope you have a beautiful day and I will see you again soon.
Hugs Lydia xxx

Tres chic.
The pop of yellow looks fabulous with the monochrome scheme.
Love that colour combo, Lydia - very cool :)
I love the colours. It's so elegant
