Cats and Triangles

Just a really quick post today as I have a couple of large boxes of stock from WPlus9 that I need to check off and load into the store....

But I do have a couple of cards to show you.   I made the first one last week whilst I was having a bit of a panic about my lack of Christmas cards...   The cats in Newton's Holiday Mischief are definitely going to feature lots in my cards this year as I love them!

All I did here was watercolour him on a little scrap of watercolour card and then mount him on gold and again onto some candycane striped paper.  A little glossy accents and glitter finished off the lights.

Then yesterday I spotted that there are new challenges every Friday over at Moxie Fab World - I used to love playing the Tuesday Trigger so really wanted to play with Fabulous Friday's and this week's trigger was lots of triangles which led me to Sohcahtoa.....

I love triangles - you can make really pretty patterns and the sizes and solids vs stripes in this set make it super easy to add lots of interest to a really simple card.  A little black tones down the colours and a sentiment on a popped up panel adds interest.
