Throwback Thursday

Hello!
Hope you are having a great week :-)
Have you seen the Fathers Day section at the shop? All the things you need to help you with those tricky masculine cards!
Todays card is most definitely NOT masculine ;-)
It is the super cute Lawn Fawn Here's The Scoop-how 'sweet' is this set?! This was my first ever Lawn Fawn set,so it has a very special place in my heart :-) These little guys are coloured with Prismacolor pencils and have a vellum sheet stitched over them.

Note of warning-do not add too much glitter to your shaker cards! Ahem, think this one has 1000000 sprinkles too many ;-)

The stripes are created from Avery Elles Pure White pigment ink and Mama Elephants Basic Borders stamp set.

Hope you like it :-D Have a sweet day!

A Sweet One Layer Card

Hello there.. are you in the mood for a sweet feast this Saturday morning???

Well, I saw this Lawn Fawn set in the Sale section on the website but there's only one
left so lets hope it's still there today as this post is scheduled!!!
I was inspired by the current Lawnscaping challenge to make a One Layer card so I teamed up the
yummy desserts from Here's the Scoop with a sentiment from Many Thanks, which is currently
out of stock but with all the lovely alphabets LF produce you could easily make your own!!

I inked the sentiment without the lollipops around it and then using the 'post-it note' masking technique I arranged the ice creams either side of the wording. They've been coloured with Inktense and regular water-colour pencils and the base is watercolour card... I've had it in my stash for
ages and it really does work the best for this method of colouring.
A few highlights with a white gel pen and they look good enough to eat :0)

Thanks for dropping by and I hope this weekend brings ice cream weather to everyone..
but especially for us as we're camping... fingers crossed!!

A Sweet Treat

Good Morning and hooray for the weekend :0)

Do you know someone who likes Ice Cream?
Yes?
Well they're in for a treat with this Lawn Fawn stamp set called

looking out at the weather, its hard to imagine summer days and Ice Cream desserts
but we can dream through our crafting can't we :0)

The fun with these stamps is that you can have whatever flavour you like and even add
chocolate sauce too... and all calorie free, bonus :0)

The subtle background has been made by stamping one of the Interlocking Backdrops from
top to bottom with white ink... those chevrons are so easy to match up :0)

Thanks for your visit and I hope you crafty Mums are spoilt rotten
tomorrow for Mothers Day.....
well, at least have a cup of tea bought to you in bed :0)
