Winter penguins

Hello.

I have given in and started my Christmas crafting lol.

Its not such a chore though and these tags were fun to make.

I have used Lawn fawns Tag you're it die set  along with the grassy border die and mini snowflakes dies.

The penguin is a mini set  called winter penguin.

I dies cut the tags from black card and added the snowflakes that i had die cut from some teal glitter card I then decided i wanted some icicles so i used the grassy border die with the same glitter card and just used it upside down.

I coloured the penguin with copics and added to the tag with some foam tape.

Hot And Happy Chocolate Baggie

Hello , it's Lydia here with you today!

Hope you are all feeling well. Today I'm sharing with you a super cute gift bag that would be perfect to gift some extra special hot chocolate... yum....

For the bag itself I have used the Lawn Fawn 'Goodie Bag die' and the tag is another Lawn Fawn die, 'Tag You're It'. To decorate the tag I have used Lawn Fawn 'Love You A Latte' with some simple masking to create the scene.

Don't forget the Sprouts!!!

Well, with the end of the school term approaching I thought I should turn my attention to making gifts for James to give to his teachers and friends for Christmas :)  I do like to look around the shops for festive ideas because some sweets are just begging to have homemade packaging.....

Marks and Spencers won me over this year with these foil wrapped chocolates made to look like Brussel Sprouts..... aren't they just brilliant ?? The old cogs started to turn as soon as I saw them, and in fact M&S have done all the harwork with these, as not only does the foil wrapper look good but so does the net bag they are in.
I simply used the Lawn Fawn Goody bag die with red card and cut a circle from one of the pieces. To make a plate I used the same circle die and one a couple of sizes larger to make a white ring around the aperture and the Flatware dies from Paper Smooches in Mirri card.

The bag of sprouts is a snug fit in the goody bag so the aperture in the front helps with that and they also look like they are piled nicely on the plate :)

I cut off the shop tag and replaced it with my own which has been made using the Tag You're It dies.
The candy stripe border has been made using the airmail stripe from You've Got Mail and the word Sprouts is stamped in Lawn Fawns Riley's ABC's ... to make the word stand out I used a solid circle stamp and a couple of shades of green ink to add some sprouts behind it :0)

M&S also have a bag of chocolates made to look like clementines in this style which have a hint of orange flavour in the chocolate....... I'm pleased to report that, according to the label, these Sprouts are just chocolate!! Phew...not sure the world is ready for Sprout flavoured chocolate !!!!

Deck the halls

Hello.

As Christmas is getting closer i thought id better start proper making my cards and tags.

Today i have used the deck the halls mini set from Lawn fawn and the winter gifts stamps.

And the tag your it die cuts and stitched rectangles.

I stamped everything in the new Avery Elle inks and it works perfectly on my Kraft card stock.

The colours stay true. 

I added some stickles to the snowflakes and some glossy accents to the berries.

I changes it up a little for the tag and used the vellum to soften the black snowflakes.

I then added dots of stickles to the vellum.

A Wedding Set

Hello and happy Friday! I'm so excited that it is the last day of school before the summer holidays :) can't wait to have my little boy with me for the summer.

Today I'm sharing with you a little card, tag and gift wrap combo, I just love that you can make everything match if you do it yourself. 

*I stamped a number of the rose images from Winnie & Walter 'The Big, The Bold Extras', coloured them using Copics and then fussy cut them out. 
*For the card I stamped and cut out the banner from the same set and added the words to the banner. Arranged the roses under the banner and glued to the card. The banner I used foam pads to attach. I then added some of the dots from the stamp set to create a spray affect.
*For the tag, I cut it using Lawn Fawn 'Tag you're It' and used some of the roses and added the sentiment from the Winnie & Walter stamp set.
*For the gift wrap I just stamped the rose image all over the paper in a light grey ink.

Happy Friday! I for one most definitely have that Friday feeling :) 

Today I'm sharing a card feature the new 'Sweet Havana' from Mama Elephant. 

*I cut a tag from white cardstock using Lawn Fawns ' Tag You're It' die, the top ring I coloured in gold and threaded through some Lawn Fawn gold twine.
*Using the Mama Elephant 'Sweet Havana' dies I cut some white cardstock and the jug I cut out of vellum.
*Using the Sweet Havana coordinating stamps I stamped onto the die-cut shapes. For the jug I added shading and stems using copics.
*I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set and embossed it in gold on the banner shape.
*I used white embossing paste on a white piece of cardstock to use behind the tag, on the bottom of this layer I die cut it with Lawn Fawn 'Stitched Scallop Borders'.
*I then added a strip of gold metal sheet to the top of the layer and a scalloped piece using the same border die as before.
*Before adding this layer to the card I added a layer of Lawn Fawns 'Let's Polka' paper to my card blank.

I just love that these flowers can be used to make some many different combinations, they will definitely be reached for again and again.
