Dino Birthday

Hi there ! Happy Friday!

Today I'm sharing with you a card packed with lots of stampy goodness :)

I made the card base using  Lawn Fawn 'Large Stitched Journaling die', I used the die set also for the speech bubble for the sentiment. Those super cute dinos  and the super palm tree are from Lawn Fawn 'Critters From The Past'.For the tasty looking cake I used 'Bake Me A Cake' (sorry OOS).

The group of balloons are from Mama Elephant 'Up & Away' and the single is from Wplus9 'Whole Lotta Happy Dies'. For the sentiment I used a mix of Lawn Fawn 'Milo's ABCs' and Wplus9 'Strictly Sentiments 1'.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Hugs Lydia xxx

Our friend ship grows

Hello.
I made a card on my blog this week using Lawn fawns Our friend ship grows stamp set.
As it was out i stamped and coloured some more of the gorgeous sunflower images using copics and the no line technique.
I'm so pleased how they turned out.
I added extra details using a white gel pen.
Then die cut them with the matching dies.
I decided to test out my lawn fawn goodie bag die and honestly if you haven't used it yet its so quick and simple and i would recommend it.
Lawn fawn restocks have been ordered so if your after anything that's out of stock follow our facebook page for all the updates.
I also made a tag, just to show that with the one stamp set you can get so much from it, it would look great just tied to some flowers a s a gift.

Here is the card i made  and i used the new Lawn fawn stitched rectangle dies ....i am in love with them they give a great look to cards. There are two sets and i would suggest getting both the large and the small as they work with each other.
Again some items may not be in stock, you can let Tara know you are interested on the comment form on the shop website.

All pictures below should link to the item in the shop ...fingers crossed :)

Throwback Thursday

Hello!
Urgh, its cold, wet and windy here today-has your sun disapeared too? I think the Tour De France took it with them when they passed through ;-) Perfect day to catch up with some Project Life weeks :-D

Today is a PL spread that I used Paper Smooches Documented Dies (which are INVALUABLE for Project Life-I use them a LOT lol) I cut a load out and keep them in a pot ready for adding to a layout, they look great glued, sewn or stapled and even stenciled. Paper Smooches have quite a few bits that can add a great touch to a page, have a look ;-)
Also used today are the awesome Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling die and Large Stitched Journaling die, which are both out of stock right now,but will be back soon!

And some closer peeps at the dies in action

I hope you like it and go check out some of the dies in the shop :-)

Hello Birdy

Happy Friday all! I hope you have had a great week and have an ever better weekend planned.

So it's my day to post over on the Make The Day Special blog and I have a really cheerful card so share with you....

I am so having an affair with yellow and pink at the minute... spring is in the air ... and it's also giving me the urge to clean (don't worry I won't do too much of that .. crafting is so much more important ;)  ).

I have used two fabulous dies from Lawn Fawn on this, the vellum stars are cut from one of the extra dies from the Large Stitched Journaling Die and 'Scripty Hello' ( which is unfortunately OOS at the moment but you could use any word die you have) which I have cut a number of times from white cardstock and layered up and topped with the same word die-cut from an AALD Metal Sheet (link in side bar).

The cute geeky birds are from 'Science Of Love' and I think they look great just perched on the word.

The added sentiment is from Avery Elle's 'Handwritten Notes' and although OOS it is on the way so keep your eyes open for this lovely set re-appearing back in the store.

Have a great day!

Hugs, Lydia xxx

Shiny Dinos

Hip, hip hooray, it's Friday!!! It seems like this week has dragged by and I just can't wait to spend some down time with my little family. Hoping for some sun so a little walk in the woods could be on the cards :)

Talking of cards (hehe see what I did there?!?!) I have a tongue in cheek one to share with you that I made for my Daddy's birthday.....

Side view...

From the top...

And a lil close up of those glossy dinosaurs..

I have used a couple of my newer sets from Lawn Fawn on this, Critters From The PastMilo's ABCs (for the sentiment, sorry OSS) and to cut the speech bubble I used on of the dies from Large Stitched Journaling Die. The extra dies in this set are just so useful and I can see me using them for lots of different projects.

I coloured with Copics and fussy cut out the dinos, that way I could use foam pads to position them onto the scene I had created. After popping them down I wanted them to stand out a bit more so I added glossy accents to them to make them shine.

I hope that this has made yo smile this morning.... just so you know my Dad loved it and wasn't offended at all :)
