Dreams, Make Em Happen

I've fallen in love with this butterfly from Lawn Fawn's Flutterby Set - and although the sentiments that come in the set are perfect - I wanted to mix it up a little. I went digging through some of the older sets in my stash (reminding myself of the little treasures I've collected from Make The Day Special) and triumphantly pulled out My Cute Stamp's Elegant Birds* and Itty Bitty's Dreams, Make Em Happen. Perfection!

* This particular set is no longer available - but all of the My Cute Stamp Sets are currently on sale and there are plenty of similarly, delicious flourishes to be had.

Kraft snowflakes

I've done it again!!! Yep - I've made something to share today using an item that's out of stock in the shop so I apologise in advance!

I've used the My Cute Stamp set - Let it Snow but if you like this manufacturer's stamps why not have a look at the rest in the shop here.

I made two cards using Kraft cardstock and white embossing powder:

Thanks for visiting!!

A Little Wish

Today's project was made with lots of lovely, little scraps. We all have them, so why not use them all up to make some super cute little tags?

A Little Wish

My scraps are all layered onto a tag, then stiched down for a bit of added detail - and security. I chose a sentiment from Elegant Birds by My Cute Stamp, which is versatile enough to work on so many different types of projects - from birthday gifts to wedding cards. Who doesn't want a lots of happiness?

A Little Wish

To finish off the tag, I've added a Prima Flower, with additional leaves from the Blissful Botanicals set from Lawn Fawn's Summer Release. It's another set that I just can't stop using it on my projects!

Why not create a few tags using all the scraps that you have left over from your card making projects this weekend? It certainly beats tidying them all away!

Ice Creams All Round!

Fancy an Ice cream? It is Raspberry Ripple...

Mmm yummy! The ice cream is one of the cute stamps from the Sweet Chocolate My Cute Stamp set available over at Make The Day Special. I might have gone a little glitter crazy on this one! The sentiment is from the same set.

So with or without the chocolate flake?

Krafty keys

I've been playing with the My Cute Stamp set - Keys and my kraft cardstock and have  acouple of cards to share with you.

The first card uses a stamped key as an embellishment. I used a rub-on to make the frame  and then added stickers for the sentiment. The key was stamped on to kraft cardstock and then cut out and threaded on faux suede thonging:

Materials used:
Kraft cardstock, Fancy Pants rub-on, DCWV stickers
My Cute Stamp - keys, black Versafine ink
faux suede thong

For my second card I cut a freehand heart from kraft cardstock and used various coloured inks to stamp the keys on it before using a black fineliner to outline the keys. For the sentiment I used a Unity stamp from the set Key To Joy available here:

Materials used:
Kraft cardstock
My Cute Stamps - Keys, Unity stamps - Key To Joy, Memento inks, black Versafine ink
Promarker pen, fineliner
ribbon

Doing The Monster Tag

It's a Monster Tag today from little old me, using a stamp from one of my favourite My Cute Stamp sets - Eeek! A Monster! Love that little set! So I got him out for this cute little grungy tag.

He is quiet friendly so don't worry!

Have a monster day, thanks for popping in.

My Cute Stamp Skinny Invites

Hello folks, how are you all doing this week? My make for you this week is a little different,  I thought I would try experimenting with a different format by making some little skinny invite cards. They only measure 4 cm by 10.5cm (~ 1.5 inch by 4.1 inch) so very slender indeed!

The My Cute Stamp Birthday kit is perfect for these little cards I thought.

Ok so you would have to write really small on the inside but for every one A6 sized card you can get three invites so at least you get to invite lots of people to your party! I'm sure there is some logic in there somewhere.

Have a lovely day.

A little message....

Woo-hoo! It's nearly the weekend, and I don't know about you, but for me it means play time! I've been having fun playing around with stamps sets that I've had for a while now and that have been neglected over the last few months (awww...). Today's card used sets from My Cute Stamp and Lawn Fawn:

Stamps: My Cute Stamp 'You're Tweet' and Lawn Fawn's 'Just my Type'

Have a great weekend!

Bring on the cupcakes!

Hi everyone. Today I'm sharing another experimental project with you and have made a bag using My Cute Stamp's Little Cupcake image:
This sweet little set costs only £2.70 - a bargain!

I 'paper-pieced' (with material) the cupcake and stitched it to the bag. I added buttons and ribbon and the bag is ready to go!

Have a good Monday,

A Winter Wonder Land....in the middle of August!

I'm coming round to the idea that starting early on Christmas cards and gifts is a sensible plan. It always sneaks up on me, so this year, I'm getting prepared!

I've created this little gift box using my trusty Big Shot and stamped the snowflakes with My Cute Stamp's 'Snow Cute' set.

I also used the penguin from the same set to create a tag for the box.
