Queen Bee

Here's a quick tag I made using the fab bee stamp from Unity's One Precious Life stamp set.

The bee was stamped on to cardstock using black Versafine ink and I then used oil pastels to add colour.

Materials used:
scrap cardstock, Crate Paper patterned paper
Unity stamp (as above), black Versafine ink, oil pastels
Making Memories and Creative Imaginations alphabet stickers
Fancy Pants ribbon, Tim Holtz tissue tape, Prima adhesive pearl
cotton lace, button, staples

Christening

I needed to make a Christening card this week and realised that I didn't too many appropriate stamps to choose from. Fortunately, the versatility of the stamps Emily stocks meant I could rustle something up:

Stamps used: Paper Smooches 'Alphadot'
My Cute Stamp 'Night Owl'

Have a great weekend,

It is one of three fab ticket stamps in the set and you can use them together or apart.

Embossed foil

I decided to have a change today and use a different technique to make today's card. My mother-in-law very kindly gave me some gorgeous Art Emboss foil so I had a play with it today.

I cut the foil to size and added alcohol inks to it. I then stamped one of the images from Unity's Insightful Meadows set on to the reverse of the foil using Stazon ink. The next step was to use a couple of fine embossing tools and a mouse mat to emboss the stamped image.

I stamped one of the sentiment stamps from the set striaght on to the card using Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with WOW! glitter embossing powder.

Materials used:
DCWV cardstock, HOTP paper, Magic Scraps splatter mesh
Art Emboss foil, Ranger alcohol inks, Unity Insightful Meadows stamps
Stazon ink, Versamark ink, WOW embossing powder
white Signo pen, ric-rac.
