Thoughts of You

Hi and a Happy Monday to everyone!  It's Tracy here again!  I've been playing with this lovely stamp set from Unity (and Clever Handmade) called "On My Way". These are lovely stamps - deep etched in red rubber and the quality of the image is perfect down to the smallest detail.  I've tried to keep this card simple - minimal colours.  But I just had to try and use my latest obsession.. Washi Tape!

I wasn't sure what sentiment to use on this card so I settled on Thoughts Of You from Paper Smooches "Word Up" (another must-have set!)

I hope you like it!

Go With Your Heart tag

Today I've gone back to my tried and tested "shabby chic" style to make a tag to share with you.

I've used the Unity & Authentique Itty Bitty stamp Go With Your Heart which I stamped with Versamark and then embossed with WOW embossing powder on Prima paper.

I've used die-cuts, lace, Prima pearls, velvet ribbon, organza ribbon and flowers to embellish.

As usual, thanks for visiting us!!

A Sunny Start

Good Morning :0)
Well we have been spoilt this week with the summery weather and it's definitely rubbed off on me
because I've used warm rays of sunshine on todays card, come and see....

With a sentiment like that happy bright colours were a must!!

I mixed up a couple of stamp companies here using the cute toaster and toast from Lawn Fawns
'Love'n Breakfast' on a sunshine background made with Avery Elle's 'Bright Days'.
Unfortunately both sets are currently out of stock at the moment.

Just a quick reminder that you are currently able to Pre-order Wplus9 stamps here,
Pre-ordering will stay open until Tuesday11th June :0)

Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy a sunny weekend whatever you're doing!!

Golden Leaves

A very happy Friday to all you lovely stampers out there!!! Fingers crossed we will have some lovely weather on the cards again..yay!

It's me , Lydia, here with you again and again I am showcasing the fab Paper Smooches stamps!

This week I'm trying out the new 'gold' trend that seems to be about at the moment. I'm not really a gold kind of gal and the only gold crafty stash I own are an embossing powder and 2 gold (one light, one dark) mica powders....

One of the micas I used on this lil beauty....

The Paper Smooches sets I used are Leafy Greens, for the fab background foliage, and Birthday Sampler for the sentiment. Both are in stock right now.... and while you are there why don't you check out the awesome Pre-Order on W Plus 9... it's only open for a week so make sure your snappy.

Have a great weekend xxx

Find The Joy............

Hi there.........

She here.........I really need to start getting organised for Christmas, as the original plan of making a few cards each month has, sadly fallen by the wayside!!!

So today I'd like to show you a little card made with a Unity 'Itty Bitty' ..........'Find The Joy'

This little card is about 5" square.......This stamp is really good.............it has even survived me cutting it into 3!!!

I stamped and embossed 3 images and coloured them with my Sakura pens. and then layered the images. I used some very shiny Silver card (which I have had for ages!!) and white card matts edged with a Martha Stewart punch.

Thanks for looking and I'll see you soon...

Critters ever after

Hello.
I'm here today with two cards made using Lawn fawns Critters ever after.
I have hardly used this set even though i have had it for ages.
I figured it was time to get it inked up and to practise my colouring.

For this card i started by stamping and colouring the  dragon  image and cutting it out.
Then i used the clouds from Bon voyage and heat embossed them before using distress inks to colour the background.
I machine stitched the main panel just as a little extra.
Then layered some die cut clouds, the dragon is raised on pop dots.
I gave the clouds a silver lining too with some diamond stickles.
Benneriffic stamps and co-ordinating lawn cuts were used for the sentiment.

This card uses lots of Lawn fawn goodies too.
I wanted to used the lawn cuts that co-ordinate with A birdie told me stamps set.
I decide to kind of make a story board type card.
Inside says Make a wish.
Here are all the products i used for both cards.

Items used but currently out of stock are
Bannerific
Bannerific lawn cuts/dies
A birdie told me lawn cuts/dies

Thanks for looking.

Bee Stampy!

It's totally Tuesday! Me again!!

I don't do cute.
I can't.
This is the nearest thing you're going to see vaguely classified as cute.
(secretly I enjoyed it- but shhh, don't tell anyone!)
The set is simply lovely- tiny but extremely well formed.
I suspect the 'clouds' were intended to be flowers originally- but I needed clouds. I guess it's a little crazy that the clouds are the same size as the bees.
Perhaps they're giant bees!
Anyhow. They're coloured in with Copics ( did I really use Copic Ciao's 3 weeks running?? I must finally like them!!)
Grab yours from here.

Also here's the set-

and would you believe it's only £3. That's just over the cost of a Happy Meal and will make you truly happier than any ole pile of fries and a teeny burger.
Spare the cows and go visit Make The Day Special.
'Daisy' will be very thankful!

See you next Tuesday. I just might make more sense by that point!
